Glucose and glycated haemoglobin converter
Glucose in mg/dL and mmol/L and HbA1c in % (NGSP) and mmol/mol (IFCC). For average glucose from HbA1c use the HbA1c calculator.
Glucose1 mmol/L = 18.02 mg/dL
HbA1cIFCC = (NGSP − 2.15) × 10.929
This converter does not include that test.
How we convert
Mass units (mg/dL) are converted to molar units (mmol/L, µmol/L) using the molar mass of the compound: mmol/L = mg/dL × 10 ÷ molar mass. Results are rounded to about 4 significant digits.
Always use the reference range printed on your laboratory report — it depends on the assay.
